Derek Cox (Dick ) born on 23rd November 1931 and sadly passed away on October 8th 1996 having suffered from Lung Cancer, was married to Penny who also sadly died on March 2nd 1994 of Ovarian cancer. He also had three children Vicki, Belinda (married to Steve) and Trevor. He also had five grandchildren Lois Lydia and Alex, and Jamie (married to Nina) and Tara.. and has sadly missed the birth of Great Granddaughter Lily May to Jamie and Nina in 2011. Dad was a big family man and devoted to his wife ,children and grandchildren and worked hard all his life never getting to enjoy the joys of retirement. He was brought up in Impington, Cambridge and worked as a car electrician for most of his life. My mum and he enjoyed a curry on a Saturday night and loved to dance to the Riverside Jazz band. He is very sadly missed by all who knew him.
